Finally SNOW

This winter has been an unusual one for us in Minnesota.  Its been warm and snow has pretty much been non-existent.  We aren't complaining and have been enjoying the beautiful winter weather.  But it was nice to wake up a few days ago to roughly 3 inches of freshly fallen snow.  After shoveling the driveway and getting Cameron off to school, we headed outside to play.

The kids worked hard on their snowman

 Kyle - making snow angels

Lauren thought a nap in the snow might be good but quickly followed Kyle's lead on making a snow angel.

Future Patriots Fan?

Daddy has always wanted all of his children to be New England Patriots fans but we live in Vikings country. Since the Patriots were in the Super Bowl this year he worked extra hard to convert Lauren to loving his favorite football team.

Daddy, I don't know about this team. (Lauren must have had a bad feeling about that day.)

Daddy's Little Girl

Lauren is such a daddy's little girl.  This pretty much started from our early weeks home.  What is not to love...daddy is a great playmate, funny, and will pretty do anything his little princess could dream of.

Kyle's New Smile

Oh, my baby boy is growing up too fast.  He lost his 4th tooth the other day.  It seems way to early for this mommy.  Check out Kyle's new smile.

Just Another Day at the Office

Lauren loves to mimic everyone in the family.  Her favorite activity to mimic is working.  Throughout the day she will announce that she needs to go to work soon, then grab her purse, say bye, and off to work she goes.  Luckily, her "boss" gives her lots of flexibility in her work schedule because soon she is off to other things like grocery shopping. Who knows, maybe she is her own boss? She certainly is the boss of the house!

Gonna bang out this letter to the CEO before heading to the gym.

I'm sure they won't mind if I sign this document with crayon...

Wait! These numbers don't add up! I'm going to make Teddy work this weekend!

Meet Lauren's Foster Sister

Just wanted to show off the beautiful Avah.

Check out the dress.  Even then they shared clothes like all sisters.

Love her smile!

Lauren at 2.5 Years Old

Hoping that one day soon we will have some pictures of the girls playing together again.  They live slightly over 7 hours from here and have two other children just like our family.  So happy we found each other.

We Found Lauren's Foster Sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to the wonders of social networking we were able to locate the little girl that Lauren spent her first 13 months with under the care of her foster mother in Korea.  They were great friends in Korea, playmates, partners in crime, and I am sure snuggle buddies.  The girls are the same age (only months apart) and must have kept their foster mother on her toes.  I will not share many details about the little girl and her forever family out of respect for their privacy but can tell you that is she is ADORABLE and the family wonderful.  We hope to be able to reunite the girls soon.  Our family is beyond trilled to have our new "extended family".
