In mid October, on a sunny but cold day, we hit the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin for each of the kids. Grandma Maggie and Grandpa Bill were visiting from North Carolina at the time and joined us for this adventure. The kids enjoyed a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and each searched for their perfect pumpkin. After they accomplished their mission, we visited the small animal farm located on site. They loved petting and feeding the animals. Next up, carving their pumpkins. Each came up with their own design and helped make them happen although most of the messy and knife work was up to the adults. They can't wait until Halloween.

A Decade in the Making
Cameron turned 10 years old in early October. We celebrated a decade of Cameron a few times. Grandparents day occurred a few days before his birthday so we took the time to celebrate with Grandma Judy and Great Grandma Betty. Next up, a Minecraft party with his friends. It was a such a hit with the kids, who all seem to be obsessed with this video game. On his official birthday, we enjoyed another round of cupcakes and presents. Happy Birthday Cam. We are so honored to be your parents. You bless us everyday with your kind heart, smiling face, and wit.
