Arcade Fun

Recently, we spent a family day at the arcade.  We enjoyed pizza, the floor show featuring a mouse, and lots of games.  It was priceless to see the kids faces as they played the games.  Such a fun day. 

Lauren's First Haircut

On Sunday, Lauren had her first haircut (well, that we know of).  Since we missed out on so many firsts with her this was a big one for mommy and daddy.  I almost teared up at the hair salon - I know silly.  But as those inches of hair came off my baby girl was transformed into a little lady.  We were a bit worried that she might not sit still to have her hair cut but she once again surprised us by sitting still and following directions wonderfully.  Of course, the lollipops and cartoons didn't hurt.

Happy New Year 2012!

Yes, I am once again behind in my blog posting.  So to start off the new year lets rewind to New Year's Eve.  We spent a quiet day together at home.  Our family tradition is to ring in the New Year with the kids at 6 PM our time (this is when the clocks hit midnight in London).  We do a count down, make a bunch of noise, give each other a kiss, and drink a little "bubbly" (aka soda for the kids).  Here's to 2012 being a fabulous year.
