Kyle, The Baker

Kyle has always had a great interest in helping out in the kitchen with cooking and especially baking.  I think its because he loves to eat so much.  For Christmas, he received his own oven from Grandma Judy and Grandpa Al.  He's now becoming quite the expert baker.  He loves spending all afternoon baking up cakes and decorating them for dinner.

Arcade Fun

Recently, we spent a family day at the arcade.  We enjoyed pizza, the floor show featuring a mouse, and lots of games.  It was priceless to see the kids faces as they played the games.  Such a fun day. 

Lauren's First Haircut

On Sunday, Lauren had her first haircut (well, that we know of).  Since we missed out on so many firsts with her this was a big one for mommy and daddy.  I almost teared up at the hair salon - I know silly.  But as those inches of hair came off my baby girl was transformed into a little lady.  We were a bit worried that she might not sit still to have her hair cut but she once again surprised us by sitting still and following directions wonderfully.  Of course, the lollipops and cartoons didn't hurt.
