February 2010

The shortest month of the year has come and gone for our family in 2010.

Kyle finished up swimming lessons. He did not pass although the teacher said he knew everything that is required and was good at swimming but she wants him to be perfect at all the requirements. Mommy said that sounds crazy because who is perfect at anything. He loved swimming and participating in a class with other kids his age.

Cameron missed his first day of school this year because of an illness on February 2nd. He had an ear infection and was put on antibiotics. He was very upset to miss school, as he loves it. Lots of tears that day.

On Sunday, February 7th the whole family went to the Landmark Center in St. Paul to attend the Passport to Korea event. We enjoyed Korea dancing, drumming, language lessons, art, food, and Tae Kwon Do.

Cameron lost his 4th tooth on February 10th. He now has a big gap and looks so cute when he smiles.

Lunar New Year was the same day as Valentines Day this year. Mommy and Daddy celebrated by going out to dinner at King's Fine Korean Cuisine while we stayed with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Al. They enjoyed Dolsot Bibimbap, Pork Bulgogi, and Kimchi Jeon. So yummy! We enjoyed munching on the leftovers when they came home. We love Korean food!

Daddy enjoyed having a day off to spend with us on February 15th. We didn't do too much but play and got haircuts.

We enjoyed a fun Sunday AM at the MN Children's Museum on February 21st. We loved the dinosaur exhibit.

Mommy got together with her friends for breakfast on the 27th of February. It was nice to catch up with them while enjoying the yummy food at the Louisiana Cafe.

Lauren turned 8 months old on February 23rd. We got some bad news that the wait to bring her home could now be 8 months (that would be August). Really hoping that the Ministry in Korea is able to work faster so she can come home to us before her 1st birthday. We all love you and miss you Lauren!
