Our adoption agency (CHSFS) hosted a huge Adoption Celebration on March, 5 2011 at the University of Minnesota. This year, the celebration included all of the countries that they work with throughout the world, including Korea, United States, China, India, Russia, and several Latin American countries to just name a few. The proceeds from the event benefited humanitarian aid projects worldwide. It was wonderful to see such a global community come together to celebrate the blessings of adoption and to learn about all of these wonderful cultures. The day included arts and crafts, games, food, a silent auction, vendors, inflatable jumpers, and dancing and singing performances. The best part was visiting with other families.
Kyle and Cameron attempting to make Korean drums (with a bit of help from mommy)
Testing out the Korea drums while Lauren does the actions to "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" (her favorite song).
More Korean drumming
Lauren loved the dancers!
A quick family photo at the end of the day!

Looks like you guys had a great time! Wish we could have joined you for the fun! Tyler loves that song as well :)
was great to see you there. Hannah loved the dancing performers the best--I couldn't get her to do any crafts.
Hannah was just singing Head Shoulders Knees and Toes today--it's not one that I have ever sang with her so must be preschool.
