April 2010 was a pretty quiet month in our house. The biggest event was Easter. We stayed for the weekend at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Al's house. We enjoyed spending time playing there and seeing the whole family. The Easter bunny was very good to us. Cam loved his new Bionicle and Ky was a big fan of the chocolate. We had an amazingly large egg hunt too. There were 53 eggs to find and we loved every second of it. After the egg hunt we enjoyed a yummy meal but had to head back home early because Kyle came down with a really bad cold.
On Friday, April 9th we drove up to St. Cloud to take Grandma Judy out for lunch for her birthday. We went to her work where they train police officers on their driving skills. Two nice officers took us for a ride around the track in a squad car. Mommy said that is the only time she wants to see us riding in a police car unless we are driving them as a grown up.
Mommy had lunch with a great group of friends on April 11th at Crave at the MOA. These are friends she met through her adoption forum. They have all either brought home their children from South Korea or are in the process. She had the best time and hopes they will be able to do this again.
Cameron enjoyed a field trip to the MN State Capitol with his class on April 13th. Daddy was a chaperone and enjoyed the morning along with the kids.
Mommy and daddy worked hard the last weekend of April by pulling together a garage sale to help offset some of the travel costs to bring Lauren home. Grandma Judy came down and took care of Kyle and helped with the sale too. All the hard work payed off and we were all pleasantly surprised at the amount we raised. Now we just need our travel call.

It is fun to keep up on your family and each entry I read I think--it is that much closer to having Lauren in the pictures.
