Korean War Memorial

Following our meeting with Ms. MeeHyeon we headed out to explore the Korean War Memorial.  Amazing!  We only had three hours to explore the grounds and museum.  We could have spent an entire day here.  There is just so much to see and so much history to learn.  We took lots of pictures of the big planes, tanks, and boats.  We know the boys will love those.  Here are a few shots from our time at the Memorial:

Following the museum closing we headed back to the hotel for a bit to eat.  Tonight we tried a traditional Korean place.  We ate huge dumplings and a noodle soup.  It was so good.  I sure hope I can expand my Korean cooking and attempt to make some of the wonderful things we tried this week.

Packing was next on the agenda.  We ended up with one bag full of gifts, one bag of clothing, and one bag of miscellanous items like shoes and a foster mother gift package we are bringing back to a family that adopted a few years ago.  We also have three carryon bags.  While I finished the packing, Mike went to have one last good bye with his "brother".

We have had an amazing time to Korea and can't wait to come back here sometime with all the children.  This country will live in our hearts forever.
