Oh Happy Day!

After 6 weeks of calling we finally received wonderful news from the State Department.  Lauren's P3 (all her paperwork) was returned to the Embassy on July 12th, her picture is in the system (so she made her Embassy Appearance) and her Visa appointment is scheduled for July 13th at 1 PM (that is tonight at 11 PM our time).  The operator said she was very cute.  So darn happy right now.  Just a few more days and we should have our travel call.

My daughter came home from Eastern last summer and the wait was HORRIBLE!!! Her P3 packet got lost by Eastern too and it delayed her homecoming 2 months (her EP and passport were issued in mid June but she didn't come home until mid August.) I have been following your blog and hoping for a quick resolution for you guys! Happy to read your news today!!!

Katie W - Wow can't believe it happened before and no checks and balances were put in place to prevent the lost paperwork from happening again. We also heard from another family that this recently happened to them too - couple of days after us. Frustrating that we lost so much time with our daughter. Your kids are beautiful!!!
