Visa Interview (VI) - We Think

So yesterday we broke down and emailed our specialist at our adoption agency to see if anything was wrong with Lauren's paperwork.  We have been waiting 4 weeks since Lauren's EP was approved and we were originally told to expect to travel in 1 to 3 weeks.  Everyday we call the State Department and hear that there has been no progress with Lauren's paperwork.  We have seen many of the other families in our EP group go to South Korea and bring their children home while we just sit and wait.  We are very happy to see these forever families united but want our girl home with us too.  So our specialist did some checking with our program director who is actually in Korea right now.  We were pleasantly surprised to be told that Lauren has already had her Visa Interview (VI).  Not sure what day this supposedly occurred.  We were also told that travel should really be any day now.  The State Department is not reporting this yet in their system so we are a bit hesitant to get too excited.  Hopefully you'll be hearing the scream heard around the world very soon when we get our travel call.
